Ronaldo set for return

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to make his first appearance for Manchester United since the World Cup.

Ronaldo was initially reported to have been left out of the United squad to play Conference club Oxford United on Tuesday evening, but he was seen boarding the team bus.

It will be his first domestic game since he angered the England fans at the World Cup by seemingly trying to get Wayne Rooney sent off during the England-Portugal quarter final.

Although Rooney and him reportedly patched up, there were a series of reports that Ronaldo wanted to leave United to join Real Madrid.
