Valencia bids for Ronaldo

Valencia have reportedly offered ?7m plus defender Roberto Ayala for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Manchester Evening News reported that Valencia have placed a bid but Man United are unlikely to be interested of the offer.

Real Madrid also have been linked with a move for Ronaldo, however there are no official bids from the Spanish giant.

AC Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has also ruled out a move for Ronaldo.

He said: "Cristiano Ronaldo? He's a guy with good qualities. But he's a winger and so he can't play at Milan. We would have to change our game."
