Reds back Ronaldo
.....Staying in the Premiership and Louis Saha believes Cristiano Ronaldo will have to get used to being singled out for criticism from opposing fans this season. Ronaldo made his first appearance on English soil since his World Cup fracas with Wayne Rooney, at Oxford on Tuesday, and was jeered every time he touched the ball.
Ronaldo responded with two goals and a smile but Saha feels that is the tip of the iceberg. "We expect some players like Cristiano are going to get some stick," said Saha. "The only thing he can do is show his quality. At least the United fans supported him on Tuesday, so that is good."
Mikael Silvestre agreed with Saha and backed the Old Trafford faithful. "I am sure Cristiano will continue to have great support," said Silvestre. "The fans have always got behind players who have had a hard time and I am sure it will be the same with him."....
