Cristiano Ronaldo visits Dubai

DUBAI — World famous football player, Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Manchester United and Portugal, visited Dubai for five days.
The sporting personality, who turns 22 on February 5, praised the emergence of Dubai as an ideal year-round business and leisure destination and various facilities in place and being developed in the emirate.
The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) organised a thrilling desert safari trip for Mr. Ronaldo in addition to arranging a city tour and presentation on Dubai.
The DTCM Manager Missions, Mr. Hamad bin Mejrin, who accompanied Mr. Ronaldo during the tour, said Dubai has become a popular destination for football players from around the world, especially Europe, for training camps and holidays.
