McGeady is Young Player of Month
Celtic winger Aiden McGeady has been named SPL Young Player of the Month after an impressive series of displays for his club during August.
Now the 20-year old cannot wait to take on Manchester United in the Champions League and face fellow wingers such as Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo.

McGeady said: "Ronaldo is a player you look up to. He's quick and strong.

"I'm also a big fan of Giggs. He's been a top player for over a decade and we'd all love to have a career like his."

McGeady spent some time at Old Trafford as a youth but is glad to be fulfilling his dreams with Celtic.

He explained: "When I was a schoolboy I used to go down there with other boys from Scotland. It was a good experience and there was a chance of signing for them.

"But Celtic was where I wanted to be and I'm glad that was the decision I made."
